 Tokyo Paralympics: Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrates Praveen Kumar’s silver medal in men’s high Jump

On Friday Athlete Praveen Kumar made Indian proud at the Tokyo Paralympics after clinching the silver medal in the men’s high jump (T64 event) final with a remarkable jump of 2.07m.

Celebrating the 18-year-old athlete’s win,Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her Instagram story and shared the happy news. Spotted all hearts with a red heart emoji, the actress added several hashtags to mark the country’ haul to the 11th spot at the Tokyo Paralympics now.

Praveen Kumar’s new record was under the T64 classification for the athletes with a leg amputation, competing with prosthetics, in a standing position.


Apart from closely following updates from the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, Bebo had also put up post sending prayers for the family of late actor Sidharth Shukla who passed away on Thursday morning due to a massive heart attack at the age of 40. She wrote, “RIP Sidharth Shuka Deepest condolences to his beloved family.Friends and fans.”


The actor was declared dead upon arriving at a Mumbai hospital. Meanwhile, his last rites are currently undergoing with the presence of close family members and friends. The actor was survived by his mother and two sisters.
