Queen Elizabeth II is jumping onto social media. The British Monarch published her first Instagram post on Thursday during a visit to London’s Science Museum. Showcasing her visit to the Museum, the 92 year old Monarch shared a picture of an old letter from her great, great grandfather Prince Albert to computer pioneer Charles Babbage.
The image was shared to the Royal Instagram account that has more than 4.5 million followers. The account was launched in 2013 and is regularly updated by staff, who post news and updates about the work of the queen and other members of the royal family. Today marks the first time the queen has updated the account herself.
