The sequel to Akkineni Nagarjuna’s blockbuster 2002 romantic comedy Manmandhudu has been launched in Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The film is being Produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna, P. Kiran on Manam Enterprises, Anandi Art Creations banners and ‘Chi La Sow’ director, Rahul Ravindran will be directing the film.
The film stars Rakul Preet Singh alongside Nagarjuna. The other principal cast involves Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Nasser, Jhansi, and Devadarshini. The music of the film will be composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj (of RX 100-fame) and the cinematography will be handled by M. Sukumar.
Rakul Preet Singh, and Director Rahul Ravindran took to social media to announce the beginning of the film. At the launch, the camera was switched on by Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya with wife Amala delivering the first clap. The team will be shooting in Hyderabad for a week and will move to Portugal later for the next schedule.
