Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar’s respective films Inshallah and Sooryavanshi will not release on Eid 2020 as speculated earlier. Salman Khan has once again proved that Eid continues to be reserved for his releases – the actor tweeted a change in the release date of the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi which has averted a clash with Sajay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah, which also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead opposite Salman.
Sooryavanshi brings together Katrina and Akshay after their 2010 film Tees Maar Khan and it is Rohit’s latest cop film. With Sooryavanshi, Rohit has said he wants to create a cop universe. Akshay will play police officer Veer Sooryavanshi in the film. The first look poster of the film was unveiled in March when the makers also announced that it will hit theatres on Eid 2020.
Inshallah will mark Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman’s reunion after 11 years. The epic romance drama is a co-production between Salman Khan Films and Bhansali Productions Private Limited. The makers announced the project in March and Salman had announced earlier last week that Inshallah will release on Eid 2020.
