Bandobast trailer: A tale of nationalism, crime and politics

KV Anand is popular in Telugu for his directorials like Rangam, Veedokkade and Brothers. His collaboration with Suriya has a considerable fan base. The duo has collaborated for the third-time for the film “Bandobast”, a political thriller laced with action and drama. The film’s trailer has been unveiled. The 1-minute-27-seconds long trailer sees Suriya in the role of Kathir, Mohanlal as a Prime Minister and Arya as his son. It showcases a tale of nationalism, crime and politics. The trailer and a previously released teaser hint at the film being not just heavy on action, but also touching on themes of terrorism, naxalism, surgical strikes and more. The film has music by Harris Jayaraj. Apart from the lead trio, the film also stars Saayyeshaa, Boman Irani, Samuthirakani and more in key roles. Produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions the film is set for release on September 20th. With Suriya’s last film ‘NGK’ receiving lukewarm response, Bandobast is crucial film for Suriya and KV Anand. Let’s wait and see whether Suriya bounces back with the film or not.
