Amitabh Bachchan, who last graced the big screen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla, has announced his next film. Big B and Emraan Hashmi will be seen together on-screen for the first time for an upcoming movie which will be produced by Anand Pandit. The two actors have united for a thriller mystery which will be helmed by Rumi Jaffery, who has previously directed films like Life Partner, Gali Gali Chor Hai and God Tussi Great Ho. Amitabh took to Twitter to announce the news.
Big B’s last release, Badla, received rave reviews and performed well at the box office, for which Big B has also been asking the film’s producer, Shah Rukh Khan, to treat the film’s cast and crew. Amitabh will also be seen in one of the most awaited movies of this year, Brahmastra which will release in the month of December. The actor is also set to make his Tamil debut with a bilingual film Uyarndha Manithan, titled Tera Yaar Hoon Main in Hindi.
Emraan Hashmi was last seen in the film Why Cheat India which didn’t do well at the box office. Emraan has recently signed Murder 4, and he will be playing the role of Auran Sahel in the film. The Amitabh and Emraan starrer is set to go on floors in May 2019 and is slated for a February 2020 release and it also stars Annu Kapoor.
